Strawberry-Citrus Overnight Oats

Great for breakfast or a snack, this can be batch-prepped ahead of time, super-quick, and will last almost all week! Even better, family members can swap out the strawberries for their favourite fruit, so everyone is happy!

If you’ve never had overnight oats before, it’s a no-cook way of making oatmeal. When left overnight, the oats soak up the liquid and get fluffy & soft like they do when cooked in the traditional way on the stove.

Overnight oats are so easy, you can’t get it wrong (I promise!). They take less than 5 minutes to prepare & taste more like a creamy pudding than traditional cooked oatmeal. It’s like having dessert for breakfast!

    Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to four days.

Strawberry-Citrus Overnight Oats

  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal (rolled)
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup water (cold)
  • 1 cup strawberries (sliced or diced)
  • 1 cup almonds (slivered )
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  1. Combine oats, almond milk, orange juice, chia seeds, maple syrup, cinnamon, and water together in a large Tupperware container. Stir well to mix.

  2. Seal and place in the fridge overnight (or for at least 8 hours).

  3. Remove oats from fridge. Use single-serving size mason jars and place a large spoonful of the oat mix in the bottom of each, then a layer of strawberries, followed by a layer of slivered almonds. Repeat until all ingredients are used up.

  4. Store in the fridge until ready to eat.

  5. Enjoy hot or cold!
