Dairy-free Peach Pina Colada Ice Cream

Summer weather is finally here, and you know what that means? ICE CREAM SEASON!

Ice cream is definitely my favourite treat – I could eat it every day, even in winter. The downside is that it’s often full of sugar and fat…certainly not helpful for a healthy lifestyle!

The solution? Nice Cream! You don’t even need a fancy ice cream machine to make this healthy treat – all you really need is a frozen banana and a food processor or blender! Quick, easy, healthy, and soooo yummy. What else could you ask for?!

This recipe gives you tropical vibes, so take it out to the sunny backyard, close your eyes, and pretend you’re on a resort beach with palm trees gently waving overhead. Paradise!

Recipe Note

Not a pineapple fan? Swap the pineapple for a different fruit of your liking: strawberrries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries!

Dairy-free Peach Pina Colada Ice Cream

  • Food processor
  • bowl
  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple (diced)
  • 1/2 cup frozen peaches (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk (canned)
  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend. 

  2. Occasionally scrape down the sides and continue to blend until smooth (approximately 3 minutes).

  3. Scoop into a bowl and enjoy immediately as soft-serve.

  4. For firmer ice cream, place in an airtight, freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 1 hour before scooping.
